Privacy Policy

This website (iliamartynenko.com) is the personal site of Ilia Martynenko. I keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and reply to your messages. The site doesn't use cookies, advertising trackers or cross-site tracking.

Who is responsible

Ilia Martynenko is the controller of personal data processed through this website. My contact details are listed on the Contact me page.

Contact form

When you send a project inquiry, I receive the details you enter: your name, email address, project description and desired outcome.

• Purpose: to reply to your inquiry and discuss a potential project.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to messages (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Processor: the form is delivered by Web3Forms, which forwards your message to my email inbox.
• Retention: I keep messages only as long as needed for our conversation and any resulting work, and delete them on request.

I never sell your data or add you to a mailing list.

Analytics

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate statistics such as page views, referrers and country. It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't track you across websites or build a profile of you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. Fonts are served from this domain, so no requests are made to Google.

External links

Links to LinkedIn, Telegram and WhatsApp take you to those services, where their own privacy policies apply.

International transfers

Web3Forms and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a copy of it. To do so, use the details on the Contact me page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
